FAYFCA has one mandatory fundraising program, Lottery Calendars, for the 2023 season. All other fundraisers during the year are optional. The mandatory fundraising fee is included in the 2023 registration fee. Families can choose to sell their calendars and recover their funds or keep the calendars for themselves.
Lottery Calendars are all $15 each. Payouts range from $50 to $125.
Please return the completed portion of the calendar to the Events Coordinator by September 30th. Cash, Check or Credit Card are acceptable forms or payment. (Checks should be made payable to 'FAYFCA')
Each player/cheerleader will be required to sell four (4) Lottery Calendars.
HOW TO WIN
The calendars are good for the month October and are linked to the PA Lottery Evening PICK 3 Daily Number. Each calendar has a 3-digit number on it. If that number on the calendar comes up as the evening Pick 3 number for the PA Lottery, the card holder will win the prize amount listed for that given day on the calendar of the card. FAYFCA will keep track of winning numbers and send a check to the address listed on the ticket.
- Is there a Buyout option to not do any fundraising at all?
Yes! FAYFCA recognizes that we're all faced with many fundraising obligations throughout the year, and your time is valuable. However, due to the integral role that fundraising plays for our program, if anyone would like to opt-out of fundraising altogether, you would pay a $100 Buyout option, which would allow you to forego any fundraising at all.
- What if I have multiple children in the program and want to do the Buyout? Is the Buyout per child or per family?
We recognize that we are all faced with lots of fundraising throughout the year, and most times this falls on the parents, and is compounded when you have multiple children. Therefore FAYFCA will allow a multiple child Buyout scale option. If you have 1 child, the Buyout is $100. Any additional children that you have would be an additional $25 (rather than a full $100).
